Care to listen

Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

Here, Beside me

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim,

By my side

It ate the food it ne'er had eat, And round and round it flew. The ice did split with a thunder-fit And a good south wind sprung up In mist or cloud, on mast or shroud, It perched for vespers nine

As you wish

Higher and higher every day, Till over the mast at noon For he heard the loud bassoon. The bride hath paced into the hall. Nodding their heads before her goes

And it grew wondrous cold: And ice mast-high came floating by, As green as emerald. And through the drifts the snowy clifts Did send a dismal sheen Nor shapes of nor The ice was all between.

Favorite me

The mariner hath his will.

The guest sat on a stone: He cannot choose but hear; And thus spake on that ancient man, The bright eyed mariner.
The sun came up upon the left, Out of the sea came he! And he shone bright, and on the right Went down into the sea.

Soft and Tender

It is an ancient mariner And he stoppeth one of three."By thy long grey beard and glittering eye, Now wherefore stoppest thou me? The bridegroom's doors are opened wide, And I am next of kin; The guests are met, the feast is set: Mayst hear the merry din." He holds him with his skinny hand, "There was a ship," quoth he. "Hold off! unhand me, grey-beard loon!" Eftsoons his hand dropped he.
